Reveiw

This book expands into a melancholic,dark- edged description of Gordo's emotional palette. In the spirit of Samurai, Gordo has the power of introverts. And his swordsmanship is class act. One of most exciting scenes is Gordo beating up the thugs to protect Heather.I guarantee this scene makes readers feel like watching Kurosawa movies.

However the story is not so much violent or science fictional than I expected. It's considerably more of dramas that focus on characters and their emotional relationships. In case of Heather, she is one of countless souls suffering to make ends meet on a daily basis. Her struggles touch us deeply and the relationship between Heather and her father is heart-wrenching. This sub plot revolves around how the family reacts to a challenge, with the themes of family bonds.

And most impressive scene to me is Gordo and Vera sharing their lonliness each other. Both of them carry pain. Vera from Zimbabwe is also far away from home and not sure when or if she would ever return. This is testament to Terlson's ability as a writer that he is able to wring lyrical despair out of quiet, delicate writing.
In addition, look at the beautiful cover drawn by Terlson himself! What a multi-talented man he is!

Thank you for bringing such an amezing book into the world.
